about

This is noise music. Some of it is harsh. However, I hope it demonstrates that electronic noise music can be melodic, colorful and even beautiful. It can have shape and form that is meaningful to a listener.
Having said that, I reiterate--this is noise music. If you're hungry for skronks, squeals, shrieks, growls, havoc, and general commotion, this will satisfy you.
All of this was played on analog synthesizers in real time with no editing. In some pieces, random voltage was applied to pitch, rhythm, and timbre. However, even when the synths were using generative (self-playing) random patches, I continually adjusted various parameters to create what I hoped to be an engaging musical event--a collaboration between myself and the machines.
