about

Karmadog's debut album. No canned loops or samples from some "library." Every sound was played by me, or by cellist Matt Turner or drummer Terry Iattoni (and then tinkered with electronically to form grooves or noise), or taken from public domain archives of early lo-fi recordings on wax cylinders.
The instruments I played on the album include Moog Prodigy, Roland Juno-60, and Commodore 64 computer. No software synths, no digital synths.
This album might make you feel funny in the head.

about

Karmadog Green Bay, Wisconsin

Karmadog is the brainchild of keyboardist/composer Greg Pagel. Usually, Karmadog is a solo project; sometimes, Greg is joined by great musicians like cellist Matt Turner. Live shows are improvised, covering a wide range of styles from EDM to noise.
Since about 2013, all Karmadog recordings are live, DAWless performances on analog modular/semi-modular synthesizers.
